Believe it or not, I met Jerry Bangs at winter quarters in 1969...
ReplyDeleteAs I recall, he lived in New Hampshire and described the school I had attended there (Franconia College) as "the sex college"--a reference to a smear campaign by the state's only state-wide newspaper!
I remember him as a nice guy, but slightly off-center, which, of course, you would never tell from this picture!
