I spoke with Kirk Marsh the other day upon his return to the States from the International Circus Festival of Albacete, Spain.
He didn't leave with a trophy, but none of the other clowns did either. What he did leave with was a pocket full of job offers and a long list of very solid contacts.
Not too shabby for your first international competition. Nice job, Kirk!

I was happy to make the knowledge of Kirk in Albacete, where I was directing Larible's show. I appreciated his character, and the impact over the european audience with his repertory. I am sure this participation was a good moment for his career.
Good luck, Kirk!
