Well the last chase on Ringling was...well this one... on the 134 (2004-2005). This exact chase gag has been on the road for over 18 years (I remember it in the Tahar show). Greg I would love to hear the story why this is the go-to chase gag! Larry
The powers that be on Ringling seem to have a love/hate relationship when it comes to this chase. I've heard them say they "never want to see that big boob nurse and that floppy foam mouth out on the track again!" And in the next breath, when they need a fill spot to do a major prop change, I hear "how about that big mouth chase...ya know it brings down the house!"
I'm betting it will return to the Ringling arena's again in my lifetime...
I was there when this gag was first created by Steve Laporte our first year on then red show in '74. When he did it I believe it was a clown with a tooth brush. Mitch Freddes
The clown inside the mouth was Anthony Yeo.

We actually did the mouth chase on the last Blue Unit tour. I was the mouth; it was a lot of fun...and backaches.
