Yes... in '73' when I wasn't pushing Lou around the track in his broken-down 300lb bathtub I rode the long bike.
One memorable day at the LA Forum the left arm detached from the handlebars. The only way to keep my balance was to raise the arm over my head. The kid’s thought I was waving to them... unfortunately the only way to slow down was to pull back on the long arms and apply the foot break. That was imposable with just one arm so at the end of my ride I flew down the backdoor ramp and plowed into the prop wagons.

Mr. Jarvis -- didn't you ride the long bicycle in 71 or 73 in MSG? You had a plaid suit if I recall.
