For those four people who wrote me to say that they strongly objected to seeing links to political videos on clownalley.net: Here's something to like even less... Keith Olbermann's comments for Oct. 30, 2008.
If you don't want to hear what Mr. Olbermann has to say about John McCain's own ties to William Ayers or Rashid Khalidi, the computer works just like the TV or the radio... don't click the link.
To those four, and anyone else who dearly loves free speech but only under the condition that it aligns perfectly with their own political point of view... we'll miss you. We really will.
For the rest of us, this will all be over, one way or another and for better or worse, on Tuesday.
This was a perfectly appropriate posting; he mentioned "clown college", didn't he?

P.S. Besides, it's your blog, doesn't that sort of mean you can post whatever you want?
Keep on keeping on, Pat. I'm sick and tired of these people (ahem, conservatives) who try to shut down any discussion that disturbs their deep denial. The truth is: Reality has a liberal bias.
ReplyDeleteAnd besides, Olbermann has a very satiric edge, so it is entirely appropriate (though I wish he would stop calling Loofah O'Reilly 'a clown'. It's insulting to clowns!

I liked the comedic value of this posting, and when I said I was saddened to find out you were a "Big, Honking Liberal" please don't take that to mean in any way I would censor your ideas. It's what this country is all about. Freedom to be right in your own mind while you're wrong in mine.
ReplyDeleteKeep posting funny stuff, Pat,
Tedrick (also saddened that you deleted my comment, but for another reason.)
That was a really cool rant...
ReplyDeleteKIETH OLBERMANN SAID CLOWN COLLEGE!
I feel so legit!
