The first screen test of the greatest italian actor (and clown) of all times. Toto' starred in hundreds of movies up to the early 70s, after being the greatest star of variety theatre in the country.
Raffaele, Toto passed away earlier than that, in 1967. He was born in 1898. He made his last movies while being completely blind. An amazingly funny napolitan actor, and I agree with you, he was the greatest comic actor in a country full of great comic actors... His full name (including titles) was (are you ready for this?) His Imperial Highness, Prince Don Antonio Focas Flavio Angelo Ducas Comneno de Curtis di Bizancio Gagliardi, Count Palatine, Knight of the Sacred Roman Empire, Esarca of Ravenna, Duke of Macedonia and Illiria, Prince of Constantinopoli, Sicilia, Tessaglia, Ponte of Moldavia, Dardalia, Peloponesso, Count of Cyprus and Epiro, Count and Duke of Drivasto and Durazzo... How do you like that?.
