Bello Nock Tightrope Walk at Sea
It's a stunt so daring it's never been attempted before: A tightrope walk at sea.
And since it's not your typical stunt, the record-setting feat was performed by someone who is definitely not your typical stuntman: Bello Nock, the daredevil clown who has performed with The Big Apple Circus, Ringling Brothers and more.
Nock, generally known to audiences by just his first name, recently walked along 403 feet of half-inch cable suspended 160 feet above cruise ship that was at least 20 miles from any landmass.
Combined with the height of the ship, Premier Cruises' "The Music Boat," Nock was 260 above sea level.
The feat, which took him just under 18 minutes, will be listed by Guinness World Records as the "Longest Tightrope Walk Unsupported" (not on land).
Nock did a great interview on the stunt, as well as his career and family, with ParentDish just a few weeks ago.
When asked what he would do if he succeeded with this stunt, he replied "I want to find bigger and larger cruise ships."

THIRTY DOLLARS
Some of you may have noticed that clownally.net will have ads throughout the holiday season with donation links for Toys for Tots, Childrens' Hospital of Philadelphia, Ronald McDonald House, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, UNICEF and the International Clown Hall of Fame.
If you were to donate $5.00 to each of these organizations it would amount to just $30.00 this holiday season. If everyone who visits here on a daily basis were to make that $30.00 donation, think of the difference we could make just here on this one blog.
If others were to add these links to their blogs, websites or link to them on their Facebook pages think of the difference we could make across the web.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and all have a happy and healthy holiday season.

LAUREL & HARDY: The Chimp (1932)
There is a part of me that wouldn't mind one bit focusing solely on Laurel and Hardy all the way through Christmas...

THE PROFESSOR: By Andrea Lynne Emeigh
Wow.
I am very deeply appreciative at this very thoughtful (and very beautiful) gift. The attention to detail, down to the lining on the jacket, is incredible. Thank you!
