It is hard to believe that it has been ten years since Pat Cashin passed away. The last conversation I had with him was about two months before his death. I was on a scissor lift in the Hippodrome Building at Circus World Museum, painting the set for our first version of Nothing But Nonsense. It was hard to keep my lines straight as Pat made me laugh, just like he always did.
You are greatly missed, Pat. Not a week goes by that I don't think of something you said or did. Even my son quotes you ("That's not a word, you jackass!"); I can hear your laugh in my head whenever he says it.
May his memory live on through his family, his friends, and this blog.
