Nuts and Bolts did the Gala Show at the WCA/CI Convention in Bognor Regis, England in 1991 at a time when I was working for Paulo's Circus, which provided the big top. Thus I was one of the ring crew. I have very strong memories of Cyril Lagey (the black gentleman - and I do mean gentleman) losing about 20 years of age when he entered the ring. Doctor Theatre at his best! It was a privilege to work with these "old pros", and I'm glad of the opportunity to have met them.
