Gosh, maybe Lou Jacobs' advice in Clown College to avoid "spaghetti" wasn't performing wisdom about sloppy work, as we always thought, but a remnant of an old Alley rivalry.
Abe Goldstein used to come visit us while I was on the RBBB Red unit in the mid to late 1980's. He was well into his 90's by that time. I still have his business card (complete with him in Keystone Kop) packed away.Toto
I once rescued the box for Abe's Bass Drum, from the Paul Kaye show prop truck, it was being used to carry stakes, I had it at the farm for a long time. I think one of the Springfield area fans,(possibly Jake Conover) bought it at the auction we had when we vacated. We had put the farm up for sale & had to get rid of a lot of stuff. Abe was one of the great personalities of our time.
