Before both performances yesterday in Frisco, TX our Ringmaster John Moss made the following announcement:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the entire cast and crew of the Kelly-Miller Circus would like to dedicate this performance to the memory of Mr. Joe Vani, America's Oldest Circus Clown, who passed away this morning at the age of 94."

Thank you for this article. He was truly a great performer. I had the opportunity to talk to Vani via telephone. He was always upbeat and a pleasure to hear from. He will be missed.
