CLOWN ALLEY: Four Kings and Some Joker (Circa 1940s)
Charlie Bell, Emmett Kelly, Felix Adler, Frankie Saluto (in Chaplin makeup) and what appears to be someone else in Paul Jung's makeup and costume. Does anyone have any background on this?

In the late 30's thru the 40's Ringling's Radio Dept (headed by F Beverly Kelley) would make live with audience reaction recordings on discs sent to radio stations for promotional purposes. (And though it makes no sense that Emmett and a silent Chaplin/Saluto would take part - the presence of two microphones - especially one set on a box - appears to be the set up of many early pre recorded radio broadcasts.) Or maybe not!
