Another clown video of a guy dressed like every other clown, doing the same bits every other clown does, set to the same type of music every other clown uses.
I agree with you, Anonymous, this type of act was new and original ten years ago, now every "visual comedian", "new vaudevillian" and "physical comedian" is doing it. But... I think Pilini's main fault here is not the material, but the complete absence of a character. He is "any clown", not "Cito Pilini the clown". I don't think he is bad, he is just uninteresting, has no personality. His technical skills are superb, but the lack of personality makes the act boring. Let's be thankful he is not using a whistle!.
I'd disagree. He comes off as charming, reasonably talented, and quite pleasant to watch. He's not David Shiner, Fumagalli, or Peter Shub but I don't think he's trying to be. Although he hasn't done anything remarkable, he hasn't done anything bad, which is better than many clowns.
I agree with you completely and love your last line - YES! Let's be glad he is not using a whistle! HA HA HA!
I could not agree more. He has a total lack of character in this. Yes, he can execute many skilled things, but they aren't anything that the average person couldn't learn if they put some time into practicing.
It's not WHAT you do... it's HOW you do it... and most importantly, WHO is doing it!

Does anybody else see this?
Where is the innovation?
Clowning needs an enama!
