CLOWN ALLEY: Unknown Shrine Date

Let's see how many of these I can get right...

It looks like (in the back row, from left to right) we have Gene Randow, Billie Burke, Larry Cross and Dime Wilson.

In the front row (again, from left to right) there's Connie Wilson, I'm not sure, Harold Simmons and a guys who is a little shorter but dressed exactly like the other guy I didn't know. I'm guessing that these guys were a little partner act.

Well, six out of eight is still pretty good, I guess.

Anyone out there know these two little people or the name of the show this was taken on?

This is the Gil Gray Circus, probably 1960, the two little people on either side of Harold, are Jack & Ruby Landrus. Harold by the way is in his favorite pose, & yes that is Connie Wilson.

The semi in the background was the Prop Truck, which also served as Clown's, & Men's dressing room. To give an indication of how the Gil Gray show moved, the Aerial Ballet closed the first half, at intermission the poles were taken down & stacked beside the truck. Nothing was loaded till after the clowns were out, right after the Finale the poles, ring curbs & stage were loaded. In International Falls one year we closed the doors 18 minutes after Finale. And to quote Jim,,,,Fact!
