Pat, Spell my name right. Our mothers used to tell us not to do that as we would freeze like that. Pete didn't listen. I did. Now I only do that when I am worried. Fuego was ready to shy from the pedestal and jump on the roof of the barn. Astronauts look like Pete and I when the control tower get to 2. LOL Wade Burck
Pat, I would suggest that what you are seeing is Peter Criss's lightning fast reflexes, and just not realizing it, what with not being equestrian and all!!!!!
Casey, Margaret and Jeannie FYI---that face necessary to ride a horse, as you call it Casey, Col. Podhajsky calls "clicking the tongue" encouraging forward motion, on page 54 of THE COMPLETE TRAINING OF HORSE & RIDER. The clenched jaw was when I instantly realized(given my lightning reflexes), that Fuego hadn't read the Col's. book, and the Col. hadn't written about how to get a horse off of the roof of the barn, and I was waiting for the Madame Col. to suggest something quick, so we didn't have to dig the ladder out of the maintenance shop. And yes, Jeannie you can judge ones riding skills by 1 picture. LOL Wade Burck
