Seacow

From the Harold Barbour Collection

Some of these really just throw me for a loop...

If someone would be so good as to let me know just who or what a "Seacow" is?

I believe a seacow is a female walrus Pat...

Seacow,s name was Glen Hart, he had been on Beatty Cole, Cristiani, and the Rudy show.in the 50's-60's Tommy Bentley spoke of Seacow often.

Anyone have any idea where "Seacow" came from as a show name?

Most people wouldn't consider calling themselves "Seacow". It sounds more like something that the kids on the bus would call you. Or maybe something a sadistic older brother came up with.

As to his "nickname", I guess refer to Mish's comment. Jim Parker always seem to chuckle when telling tales of Seacow...

sorry, my English is not that good... but to me it seems to be a manatee.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manatee

or in German:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seekühe

see = sea

kuh, pl. kühe = cow, cows...

what do you think?

best wishes...
