If I recall Patrick, you aren't too impressed with Popov as a comedian, but one certainly can't deny his skill as a juggler and equilibrist. Amazing. That old Soviet circus training had it's good points. Maybe if the circus hadn't been a tool of propoganda, Popov could have developed his comic skills a little more. Faced with the Gulag I probably would have tried pretty hard to stay on the Kremlin's good side too.
