2 Scenes, 1 Gag

Behold, the power of adaptation!  The following clips show the same two clowns doing virtually the same routine as part of two separate productions and situations.  The clowns are James ThierrĂ©e (grandson of Charlie Chaplin) and Magnus Jakobsson.  The first clip is from La Chauve-Souris, an adaptation of the opera Die Fledermaus, directed by Coline Serreau (who wrote Trois Hommes et un Couffin which was re-made in Hollywood as the Tom Selleck classic "Three Men and a Baby").  The scene involves a man trying to escape an ugly woman who wants to dance with him.

The second clip is from La Symphonie du Hanneton, in which a man is asleep dreaming and a stranger keeps entering his dream space.
