Just in case you don't know, from L to R it's Ernesto, Francesco and Enrico.

Enrico's grandson Alberto may be found in whiteface at Cirque d'Hiver in Paris each Christmas season, and Alberto's brother Enrico tends to spend his days in Switzerland with Knie.
However, last Christmas, Enrico Jr was in Stuttgart, Germany, clowning alongside Angelo Munoz (who had been tempted out of retirement). The same promoter wanted them for Amsterdam this coming Christmas season. Angelo "wasn't sure I want to do it". I have a feeling he'll be there.

In addition -- Francesco's daughter, Juanita and husband Charley, were the HORTABAGI teeterboard troupe and their daughter, Andrea and family are frequent visitors to our show, Yankee Doodle Circus.

Pat, I don't think you were on our tour when they visited last.

The last time I saw Juanita and Charley was at Showfolks of Sarasota club.

John --
Were Francesco's costumes made in Paris?

Are you taking a holiday to the USA anytime soon?

I wonder if any of this group is related to a family name Belay or
Zavatta ?

800pm...I just read an email from Sue Lenz stating that Juanita is the daughter of Ernesto, not Francesco as I mentioned earlier.

I've been introducing the granddaughter, Andrea, as "the granddaughter of The Francesco Clowns" for so long that I must have mixed up the names.

Thanks to Sue, apologies to all.

You will have seen Raffaele's answers concerning Francesco's costumes elsewhere by now.

With regard to my holiday plans, at the moment I don't really have any - for America or anywhere else, for that matter. However, as I have 2 friends each with a 2 year Ringling contract, I do hope to cross the Atlantic before the end of 2010.
