Johnny Peers is one of the funniest performers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The man has more comedy in his little finger than most clowns have in their entire body. He has a God-given gift to make people laugh.
There is video of Johnny & Zapata working. They are part of a mid 70's documentary film narrated by Jonathan Winters on Circus Vargas. It has some brief backstage shots of them working on bits for a routine as well as much of the washer-day gag with Habeebe.
Pat, start digging, and if you don't have it, I'll find my copy.
I saw his dog act and man was it hillarious, and he shows alot of love to those animals and compasion not like some other dog acts,he shows it the most and you can tell he loves what he does he lives breaths the circus life.I also remember watching him here in chicago as a young child.besides dougie ashtons charlie chaplin character his was good also

Nice Groucho quality... but did he ever have the worse case of 'spaghetti-mouth’?
