Greetings all.

I'm writing this in Amsterdam, Holland, having seen the Christmas circus at Theater Carre last night, and its equivalent in Den Haag (The Hague if you prefer) yesterday afternoon. Rotterdam later today.
The relevance is that David Shiner was at Carre last Christmas - when I couldn't make it.
This year it's another David. Namely Larible. He does the Volunteer Orchestra, and the Opera routines as his main pieces.
Also included in the show are Kovgar, who were with Big Apple recently with their teeterboard number.

At Den Haag, Oleg Popov is Guest Artiste. Not really the force he used to be, but adequate. As far as I'm concerned, comedy honours go to an Armenian who works in the style of a certain Charlie Chaplin. And I lean more towards Keaton.

Nobody of any note at Rotterdam.

Unless young Patrick gives me cause to comment, I'll talk to you all in the New Year.

Hope we all have a GREAT one.

John Cooper.
