wow!! shakespeare is big fun like this!
i like it much better then al those ultra modern versions they do today.
and avner the exentric is once more great like his style a lot.
I caught the very last performance of this at the Goodman in Chicago. It was close to 4 hours of inspired genius! I met up with Chas Elstner after the show (he was a year ahead of me on the Blue Show). And it was my introduction to Jeff Raz, who I later collaborated with on resurrecting the Pickle Family Circus.
Does anyone know if this is available on DVD?

I saw this show twice, live, way back when in Lincoln Center. It is the best show I have ever seen. EVER! I wish they'd do a revival.

Yup.
The most inspirational show I have ever seen. I got into Shakespeare, juggling, theater, literature and circus, even PBS. Very few shows can accomplish so much. An instant classic!!
