You should post Pompoff Thedy doing this bit as a comparision for those who have never seen it done right.
Nothing wrong with adapting a clown bit for your character,as there are no real "original" bits left, only original variations on themes. But if your going to do the bit, then make it your own, make sure that the dummy arm looks good, and give it an energy and style that reflects you, not just copycat the Thedy's or Grock or Rastelli or Lou Jacobs...
