I disagree. I believe that the visual suggestion of physical comedy doesn't necessarily constitute physical comedy, as it retains it's visuality, so to speak, and even though the laugh comes from the suggestion that clowns get hurt, no actual pain is, in this instance, inflicted on any clown, either real or imaginary . . .
