I love your blog and you do a great job of recognizing so many great clowns that get fallen through the cracks. I knew and loved both Otto and Lou, but believe they also would enjoy the recognition you give to so many others. Thanks and keep up the good work.
In this day of modern, cutting edge, revelant circus comedy, I'm willing to bet the farm that this routine, performed by good clowns would still rock the house. Always has been a favorite of mine and love watching the so called MTV generation of kids crack up at the simplicity of the routine.

It was the year that Tarzan was buying the show from Mr. Castle.
Tarzan was running the show but it was still under the Castle name.
