I'm saddened to learn of Jimmy's passing. He was a friend of long standing as I photographed the CB~CB show back in the late '60's.
Through the early 90's, Jimmy James was a good friend to me and my family. Her personified CIRCUS, in his red ringmaster's suit and with his rich bartitone voice. Clyde Beatty-Cole Brothers suffered after his stepping down. And now, the world has lost an excellent personification of how great the circus world used to be
Jimmy was an excellent mentor and an even better friend the world lost not just a great ringmaster/clown but a one of a kind man see you under that great big top in the sky my friend
