There was a novelty item called the "ventrillo"; usually purchased from ROBBINS. I don't know what Pio and Mario used, but I have seen "European made" ventrillos and they are far superior to the novelty ones that I purchased.
Hey guys, Don't blame me for Mario's surname, To tell you the truth I couldn't remember it, that's why I put Pio Nock & Mario, I believe it was Peggy Williams that taged my photo!

I watched this gag for 2 years... I can still hear that damned bird whistle. It invaded in my head as soon as I saw this picture!
BTW - Mario had to put on a full white face for every show... He worked sans make-up in the 1st act. He must have had skin of iron.

A version of the novelty item, the ventrilo.
Enjoy and drive the neighbors nuts, like I did.
Actually the gentleman's name is Mario Cortes. He's Pio's son-in-law.
Was Court his show name? I'm going by Sue Lenz's information.

Pio still has a website with lots of wonderfull pictures.
After some research it looks like Pio's son-in-law's last name is Cortes.
Nice catch, Col. Herriott! Thanks!

Sorry Sue. I thought it was you who tagged the photo.
